In the Dedication page of his bestseller “The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared.” Jonas Jonasson wouldremember his childhood saying:
Nobody was better than Grandpa at enchanting his audience, sitting there on his wooden bench, slightly leaning on his cane chewing his tobacco.
—But, is it true, Grandpa? —we would ask wide eyed. To what he always responded:
One who can only TELL TRUTHS doesn’t deserve to be heard
The GIN BAli 2016 was full of stories, tales and anecdotes to share for a long time. I was honored to be asked to participate with a workshop on Storytelling. And I would love to be part of it next year again. I loved the variety of speakers and the engagement of the students from all over.
Congratulations to Sakina & Renate for such a great job organising it and giving this experience to all of us.
